Go Green

The "Go Green" project was formed to help bring awareness to the community of the responsibility we all share in helping to preserve the environment.  With a concerted effort in rethinking how we can reduce, reuse, recycle, each one of us can make a difference. ("Go Green" photographs by Dick Moore)

Scholarships

For over 50 years, The Hopkinton Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Hopkinton.  The Scholarship Committee and the Hopkinton Women's Club work together to prepare and review the scholarship application forms.  The scholarships are available to all Hopkinton graduating seniors who have completed and submitted their applications for review.

Year after year, the residents of Hopkinton have shown their support for our high school seniors by giving generously to the fund.  As a result, the Scholarship Fund has awarded over 600 graduating seniors over $375,000 in scholarships since its inception in 1954.  The primary criteria on which the scholarships are awarded include need, academic achievement, and service to school and community.
Candidates Night

The club hosts an annual Meet the Candidates Night each April before the May town elections.  Each candidate is given a chance to introduce herself/himself to the town.  Following the presentations, the candidates are available for questions from the audience.  The forum is broadcast live via HCAM-TV.

Project HOPE

Coordinates food drives and provides holiday gift certificates to assist needy community residents.  Assists Baypath Humane Society, Senior Center, Michael Carter Linslow, Respite Center, Project Just Because, and Serenity House with donations of clothing, food, personal hygiene products, and other needed items.
Blood Drives

The club provides monthly assistance to the Red Cross Blood Drives.

Fashion Show

The club hosts a Spring Fashion Show fundraiser every other year with all proceeds donated to a local chairty.  The event features fashions and hair and makeup by businesses in the local area.

Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, models, and to everyone who attends the shows!
