Community Service:

Beautification - identify and coordinate project to beautify the community

Blood Drive - to assist the Red Cross in town blood drives and flu clinics

Candidates’ Night - sponsored to help educate the voters concerning the town election

Scholarship Drive - coordinates the Hopkinton Town Scholarships and the Mary McDonough Community Service Scholarship

Fund-raising - is responsible for the fund-raising efforts of our club.  They make all of our contributions and project possible.

Hospitality - schedules the hostesses and helpers and functions as refreshment coordinator for the monthly meetings.

Membership - responsible for introducing new members and making them feel welcome.  They distribute the names, addresses, and phone numbers of new members to the club members, update the handbook, and staff the guest book at monthly meetings.

Nomination - prepares a list of candidates for officers, auditor, chairwomen of standing committees, and presents it to the Club at the annual meeting in April. Copies of the elected slate shall be submitted to the Club President and Handbook Editor by May 1st.

Notification - contacts members of our club to relay import information.

Programs - schedules monthly programs and activities for the social, entertainment, and education of the membership. A monthly schedule of programs for the following Club year shall be submitted to the President and Handbood Editor by June15th.

Project H.O.P.E (Hopkinton Organization for Positive Endeavors) - coordinates food drives and provides holiday gift certificates to assist needy residents of our community. This committee assists Bay Path Humand Society, Hopkinton Senior Housing Authority, Michael Carter Linsnow Respite Center, Project Just Because, and the Serenity House with donations of clothing, food, personal hygiene products, and other needed items.

Publicity - is responsible for getting Club news in area newspapers and local cable TV.  The committee Photographs important events, is responsible for updating storing the scrapbooks, publishing a newsletter, and designing and setting up sandwich boards.
