This event is to bring awareness to the community of the responsibility we all share in helping to preserve the environment. We would like the day to be both fun and educational, inspiring people to rethink how they can reduce, reuse and recycle.
To do so, we are looking for people/organizations, like yourself, who will take on the challenge of setting up a children’s hands on activity table with the use of recycled goods. Are there other ways that your organization can play a role to promote recycling awareness at our event? If so, let us know! The CAA, HPTA, the Hopkinton Library, the Hopkinton Garden Club and others have already made a commitment to join us in raising awareness and encouraging change.
During the event, the Cultural Arts Alliance will also be teaming up with us to host a “Trash Fashion Show”, using clothing made of recycled items. We will be calling upon the community, youth and adults alike, to submit their recycled fashion designs and winners will be selected.
